From Kathmandu, head north on the Prithvi Highway (also known as the Kathmandu-Naubise road). Continue for about 25 kilometers until you reach the Kakani turn-off. Look for the sign indicating Kakani and take the road on your left. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach Kakani View Point. The total journey takes around 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. Parking is available at the view point.
