Getting There

Walking
From the Thamel area, head east on Tridevi Marg. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection at New Road. Turn right onto New Road and walk for about 300 meters until you reach the bus stop. From here, you can catch a local bus heading towards Tarkeshwor. Make sure to ask the bus conductor to let you know when to get off. The bus will drop you near the Tarkeshwor area. Once you get off, walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach Nepal Yoga Home, located at Tarkeshwor-5.

Local Bus
From Ratna Park, take a local bus heading towards Bhaktapur or Boudhanath. Inform the bus conductor that you want to go to Tarkeshwor. The bus will take you through various parts of Kathmandu. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Tarkeshwor bus stop. From the bus stop, it is a short 10-minute walk to Nepal Yoga Home. Head northeast on the main road for about 500 meters, and you will find the yoga studio on your left, at Tarkeshwor-5.

Bicycle
If you are comfortable cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Thamel. Head east on Tridevi Marg, then take a left onto the Ring Road. Follow the Ring Road around 5 kilometers until you see signs for Tarkeshwor. Turn onto the road leading to Tarkeshwor-5 and continue straight for about 2 kilometers. Nepal Yoga Home will be on your right. Make sure to wear a helmet and stay cautious of traffic.
