  If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Surkhet, which is a well-connected city in the Karnali Zone. Take the Karnali Highway (NH03) heading west. Continue along NH03 for approximately 3-4 hours, depending on traffic conditions. You will pass through scenic landscapes and several small towns. Keep an eye out for road signs indicating the direction to the Karnali bridge, located in the Dailekh-Achham border area. As you approach the bridge, the route will narrow, and you'll see the bridge come into view. There is no direct parking available at the bridge, so you may need to park in a nearby area and walk to the bridge.

• Public Transportation

  For those opting for public transportation, head to the main bus terminal in Surkhet. Look for a bus heading to Dailekh or Achham. The journey will take approximately 4-5 hours. Make sure to confirm with the bus driver that they stop near Karnali bridge. After disembarking, you might have to take a local taxi or a short walk to reach the bridge, which is about 5-10 minutes away from the nearest bus stop. Bus tickets typically cost around NPR 400-600, depending on the service quality. Be prepared for a bumpy ride, as the roads can be challenging.

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Surkhet to Karnali bridge. This is a more expensive option, costing around NPR 4000-6000. The taxi will take you directly to the bridge, and the journey should take around 3-4 hours. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand and agree on whether the driver will wait for you or if you need to arrange for a return ride separately.
