From the Boudhanath Stupa, head southeast along the main road towards the Tushal area. You will pass several shops and cafes. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach a small intersection. At the intersection, turn left onto Tushal-Mahankal Road. Shechen Monastery is located about 5 minutes further down this road on your right.

After completing the kora (circumambulation), exit the stupa area and head towards the main road. Turn right and continue walking towards Tushal-Mahankal Road.
