    From Thamel, head south on Sarawoti Marg towards the intersection with Jyatha. Continue straight until you reach the busy intersection at Kamal Pokhari. At Kamal Pokhari, take a left and follow the road as it curves. You will see a sign for Patan on your right. Keep walking straight until you reach the bustling area of Lagankhel. From Lagankhel, you will notice signs pointing towards Patan Darbar Square. Continue on this road until you reach the square, which is about a 20-30 minute walk from Thamel.

    Microbus

    From Thamel, walk to the nearest microbus station, which is located at the end of Jyatha. Look for a microbus heading to Lagankhel or directly to Patan. The fare is typically around NPR 20-30. The microbus will take you to Lagankhel, which is a short walk from Patan Darbar Square. Once you arrive at Lagankhel, follow the signs to Patan Darbar Square, which should take about 10 minutes on foot.

    Rickshaw
