If you are in Lumbini, start at the Lumbini Garden entrance. Walk towards the main road (Lumbini - Butwal Road). From the entrance, it is about a 10-minute walk. Turn left onto the main road and walk straight for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Butwal road. At this junction, you will see a sign pointing towards Butwal. Continue straight; you will pass some local shops and eateries along the way.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From the Lumbini Garden, you can catch a local bus or microbus heading towards Butwal. The bus station is located near the main entrance of Lumbini. Buses leave frequently, and the fare is very economical (around 50 NPR). The journey will take about 30 minutes. Inform the driver you want to stop at Jitgadi Fort, and they will help you with the stop. Once you get off, you will have to walk for about 15 minutes uphill to reach the fort.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Lumbini. Cycle towards the main road (Lumbini - Butwal Road) and follow the same route as walking. The distance is approximately 3 kilometers, and it will take about 15-20 minutes to reach the junction. Continue straight on the main road until you reach Butwal, then ask locals for directions to Jitgadi Fort, which is well-known in the area.
