Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Nagarkot, head towards the main road leading down to Bhaktapur. Walk straight until you reach the junction at the bottom of the hill. At this junction, turn left and continue walking for about 500 meters until you reach the local bus stop. This area is known for its lively atmosphere, and you can ask locals for directions to Kathmandu if you are unsure.

• Bus

  At the local bus stop in Nagarkot, look for a bus heading towards Bhaktapur or Kathmandu. The buses usually leave every 30 minutes. Once on the bus, stay seated until you reach Bhaktapur. Upon arrival at Bhaktapur, disembark and look for another bus or microbus heading towards Kathmandu. The fare is inexpensive, and the journey offers beautiful views of the countryside.

• Walking

  After reaching Bhaktapur, walk towards the main square of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. From there, you can find a bus or taxi heading towards Kathmandu. If you prefer walking, you can follow the road signs leading to Kathmandu, which is approximately 13 kilometers away. However, it is recommended to take public transport for convenience.

• Microbus

  Once you arrive at Bhaktapur, head to the microbus station located near Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Look for a microbus that has 'Kathmandu' displayed on the front. The microbus will take you directly to the Boudhha area in Kathmandu, where Bodhi Guest House is located. Inform the driver that you want to go to Boudhha, and they will drop you off at the nearest point.

• Walking

  After being dropped off in Boudhha, you can easily find Bodhi Guest House. It's a short 10-minute walk from where the microbus drops you off.
