From the center of Nagarkot, head towards the main road that leads to Changunarayan. You will walk along a well-marked path. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left path, which leads to the Mandir Walkway. Continue straight for another 2 kilometers until you see the sign for Changu Museum on your left.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can hike from Nagarkot to Changunarayan. Start your hike from the Nagarkot view tower and follow the trail that descends towards the village of Changunarayan. This scenic route takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach Changunarayan, follow the signs to the Mandir Walkway where the museum is located.

Alternatively, you can take a local bus from Nagarkot to Changunarayan. Locate the bus stop in the center of Nagarkot and board a bus heading towards Bhaktapur. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Changunarayan. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Changunarayan, walk towards the Mandir Walkway, which is a short distance from the bus stop.
