Experience View Point

Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Nagarkot, head east on the main road (Nagarkot-Baluwapati Deupur road). Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left path that leads towards Paryatan Marga. Follow this road for another 1 kilometer, and you will start to see signs pointing towards the View Point. Keep following the signs, and after a short uphill walk of about 300 meters, you will arrive at View Point, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayan range.

    If you are starting from the Nagarkot Bus Park, exit the park and take the road heading south towards the village. After about 1 kilometer, turn right onto the dirt path that leads towards the View Point. This path will be slightly steep, so take your time. Continue for about 800 meters, and you will reach a viewpoint where you can see the stunning scenery.

    From any hotel in Nagarkot, ask for directions to the main viewpoint. Most hotels are familiar with the route. Generally, you will start on the main Nagarkot road, heading towards the eastern side of the hill. After around 2 kilometers of walking, look for local markers or signs that indicate the View Point. Follow those signs uphill for about 400 meters until you reach your destination.
