Walking
From the center of Nagarkot, head south towards the main road (Nagarkot-Kirtipur Road). Continue walking for about 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Kirtipur road on your left. Turn left onto this road and walk straight for another 1.5 kilometers. You will then see a sign for Chilancho on your right. Follow the path leading up to the temple, which is located at M7GH+Q5F, Kirtipur 44618.

Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Nagarkot viewpoint and cycle down towards the main road. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto the Nagarkot-Kirtipur Road. Keep cycling for approximately 3.5 kilometers, and look for the sign for Chilancho temple. The path leading to the temple will be on your right shortly after passing through a small village.

From Nagarkot, walk to the nearest bus stop on the main road. Look for a local bus heading towards Kirtipur. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you reach Kirtipur, ask the bus conductor to drop you off near Chilancho temple. The bus will pass close to the temple, and from there it’s a short walk to the entrance.
