Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the Nagarkot bus park, head east on the main road (Nagarkot - Bhaktapur Road). After about 500 meters, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left path which leads uphill. Continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer, enjoying the scenic views along the way. You will pass by several small shops and local homes. When you reach a small junction, take the right path which is marked with a sign for the Nagarkot View Tower. Follow this trail for another 500 meters, and you will arrive at the Nagarkot Geodetic Survey Tower.

  • Walking

    If you are at the Nagarkot Buddha Stupa, exit towards the main road and turn left. Walk along the road for about 300 meters until you see a sign for the Nagarkot View Tower on your right. Take this path and ascend for approximately 1 kilometer. The path might be steep in some sections, but it is well marked. Enjoy the greenery and local flora. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will see the Nagarkot Geodetic Survey Tower ahead.

    From the Hotel Sunrise view point, head down the stairs and take a right onto the main road. Walk for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection. At the intersection, take the left path which is a bit more rugged but less traveled. Continue for approximately 700 meters until you come across a sign for the Nagarkot Geodetic Survey Tower. Follow this sign for another short uphill walk of about 300 meters, and you will reach your destination.
