You will pass through a few small villages, where you can ask locals for directions if needed. Once you arrive at Changunarayan, the temple will be visible on a hilltop. For a more adventurous route, take a hiking trail from Nagarkot to Changu Narayan. Start from the main square in Nagarkot and head towards the trail marked for Changunarayan. This trail involves a more rugged path, so wear appropriate footwear. The hike may take about 1.5 to 2 hours, offering beautiful views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Along the way, you might come across local flora and fauna. Follow the trail signs, and once you reach the temple area, you will see the stunning Changu Narayan Temple perched on a hill.
