Walking
From the center of Namche Bazaar, head towards the Namche Bazaar Monastery. Walk past the monastery and continue along the main path that leads towards Khumjung. Follow the signs directing you to Gokyo Lake. The trail will begin to ascend through beautiful forests and terraced fields. Keep walking for approximately 2 hours, and you will reach a viewpoint overlooking Gokyo Lake. The lake is located on Gokyo Lake Marg.
Trekking
If you are up for a more adventurous route, you can trek from Namche Bazaar towards Gokyo Lake. Start at the main square in Namche, and take the path leading towards the Everest View Hotel. From there, continue on the path that goes uphill, which will lead you to the high-altitude trails. Be sure to take breaks as you trek upwards, as the altitude can be challenging. After about 3-4 hours of trekking, you will find yourself at Gokyo Lake. Look for the signs along the way to guide you.
