    Getting There

    Walking

    From Patan Durbar Square, head south on Maharajgunj Road for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes, and keep an eye out for the local street vendors. Continue until you reach the intersection with Karyabinayak Road. Turn left onto Karyabinayak Road and continue walking for about 500 meters. You will see the Bungamati Museum on your right, just before the main entrance to Bungamati village.

    If you are near the Golden Temple (Hiranya Varna Mahavihar), walk south along the street towards the main road. Cross over to the left side of the road and walk straight for about 800 meters until you reach the junction with Karyabinayak Road. Turn right onto Karyabinayak Road and walk for another 300 meters. The Bungamati Museum will be on your left.

    Walking

    From the Patan Museum, exit and head east towards the main square. Walk across the square and follow the road leading to the south, which will eventually turn into Karyabinayak Road. Continue straight for about 1.2 kilometers, and you will pass through a residential area. The museum will be on your right before you enter Bungamati village.
