Walking
If you are in Patan Durbar Square, start by heading east towards the main road. Once you reach the road, turn left and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Sanepa. Continue straight along this road until you reach the traffic circle at Lagankhel. At the circle, take the first exit to the right onto the road marked towards Kathmandu. Keep walking for about 15-20 minutes until you see the sign for Dakshinkali Mandir. The temple is located on the left side of the road.
Local Bus
From Patan Durbar Square, walk to the nearest bus stop on the main road. Look for a bus heading towards Kathmandu. You can ask locals for help if you're unsure. Board the bus and ride it for about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop near Lagankhel circle, and then walk towards the traffic circle. From there, continue straight along the road heading to Kathmandu. Dakshinkali Mandir will be on your left after approximately 15-20 minutes of walking.
Rickshaw
Find a rickshaw near Patan Durbar Square and tell the driver you want to go to Dakshinkali Mandir. The journey will take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to the temple. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
