If you are in Patan Durbar Square, start by heading east towards the main road (Patan Dhoka). Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Chhauni area. Look for the large military structures and signs directing you to the Military Museum. The museum is located at the intersection of the main road and Chhauni Road.

From the Patan Museum, exit and turn left onto the main road. Walk north for about 800 meters until you reach the Nepal Army Headquarters. The Military Museum is just a short walk from there, located within the Chhauni premises. You will see signs pointing to the museum entrance.

From the Patan area, find a local bus heading towards Kathmandu. Board the bus and ask the conductor to let you know when you reach Chhauni. Once you disembark, walk towards the large military installations, and you will see the Military Museum nearby.
