    To reach Nagarkot from the center of Patan, head north towards the Patan Durbar Square. Once you reach the square, look for the signs pointing towards Bhaktapur. Follow the road leading out of the square, which will take you to the Ring Road. At the Ring Road, you can either take a local bus to Bhaktapur or continue walking towards Bhaktapur. If you choose to walk, keep heading northeast for about 8 kilometers until you reach Bhaktapur. From Bhaktapur, look for a bus heading to Nagarkot. The bus station in Bhaktapur is located near the main square. The bus ride to Nagarkot takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Nagarkot, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the viewpoint area.
