Walking
From the Patan Durbar Square, head north towards the main road (Mangal Bazar). Continue straight along the main road until you reach the junction with Swayambhu Cir Rd. Turn right and follow Swayambhu Cir Rd for about 1.5 kilometers. The Natural History Museum will be on your left, marked by a sign at P77Q+M46.

If you are near the Patan Museum, exit the museum and walk towards the Patan Durbar Square. From there, follow the previous walking directions to the Natural History Museum.

Head to the nearest bus stop and take a local bus heading towards Kathmandu. Ask the bus conductor to drop you off at the Swayambhu stop. Once you get off, walk along Swayambhu Cir Rd for about 500 meters. The Natural History Museum will be on your right.
