Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Patan, head towards the Patan Durbar Square. Once you reach the square, look for the main exit to the east. Walk down the main road until you reach the intersection with the ring road. Take a left at the intersection and continue walking straight. After about 10 minutes, you will enter Thamel, a popular tourist area in Kathmandu. Keep walking straight until you reach Paknajol Street. Look for DRS Bhawan on the first floor, where Nepal Social Treks & Expedition is located.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Patan. Start from Patan Durbar Square and cycle east towards the ring road. Once you reach the ring road, turn left and continue cycling straight. You will soon enter Thamel. Keep an eye out for Paknajol Street on your right. Turn onto Paknajol Street and look for DRS Bhawan on the first floor. It should take around 20-30 minutes depending on your speed.

• Public Transport

  From Patan, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch a local bus heading towards Kathmandu. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Thamel. After about 30 minutes, get off at Thamel bus stop. From there, walk straight until you reach Paknajol Street. Turn right onto Paknajol Street and look for DRS Bhawan on the first floor. This option is economical but may take longer due to traffic.
