Walking
From the Patan Durbar Square, head east towards the main road (Mangal Bazar). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Ring Road. Cross the road and continue straight towards Panauti. You will pass through the neighborhoods and small shops. Follow the signs towards Panauti, which is approximately 24 kilometers from Patan. Keep an eye out for local buses or shared taxis that may take you directly to Panauti. Once in Panauti, ask locals for directions to Indreshwor Temple Square, where the Panauti Museum is located.

Public Transport
From Patan, walk to the nearest bus station (Lagankhel Bus Park). Take a local bus heading towards Panauti. Buses leave frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. The journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Panauti, exit the bus and ask for directions to Indreshwor Temple Square. The Panauti Museum is situated inside the courtyard of the temple, which is a short walk from the bus station.

Head to the Lagankhel area in Patan, where you can find shared taxis heading to Panauti. Look for a taxi that has 'Panauti' written on it. The fare is usually per person, and the ride will take around 1 hour. Once you arrive in Panauti, you can ask the driver to drop you off near Indreshwor Temple Square, which is where the Panauti Museum is located.
