Getting There

Walking
From the center of Patan, head north on Lalitpur Marg towards the Swayambhunath Stupa. After about 1 km, you will reach the junction with Pashupati Nath Road. Turn left onto Pashupati Nath Road. Continue walking straight for approximately 1.5 km, passing by the Pashupatinath Gate on your left until you reach the main entrance of Pashupatinath Temple.

Public Transport
From Patan Durbar Square, take a local microbus heading towards Kathmandu. Be sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Pashupatinath Temple. The journey will take around 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off, the temple entrance will be a short walk from where you disembark.

Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, exit Patan on the main road towards Kathmandu. Follow the route towards Pashupati Nath Road. The distance is about 3 km. Keep to the right side of the road and look for the signs leading to Pashupatinath Temple. You will see the temple complex as you approach.
