Walking
If you are starting from the Patan Durbar Square, head south towards the main road, which is called Mangal Bazaar. Walk straight down Mangal Bazaar Street until you see a large entrance with intricate carvings. This is the entrance to Mul Chowk. The walk should take about 10-15 minutes, and you'll pass several shops and local eateries along the way, making this a pleasant stroll through the heart of Patan.
Walking
From the Golden Temple (Hiranya Varna Mahavihar), exit the temple grounds and turn right onto the main road. Walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will reach Mangal Bazaar. Continue walking straight, and soon you will see the entrance to Mul Chowk on your left. This should take you approximately 10 minutes in total.

If you're coming from the Patan Museum, exit the museum and walk towards the main square. Once you reach the main square, head south on Mangal Bazaar Street. You will see the Mul Chowk entrance after about an 8-10 minute walk. The path is well marked and filled with local sights.
