From Lakeside Pokhara, head east towards the main road (Prithvi Highway). Turn left onto the highway and walk for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the Machhapuchchhre Base Camp Trailhead. This area is marked with signs directing you towards the Great Machhapuchchhre Trail (GMT). Follow the signs leading into the trailhead, which will take you along a scenic path surrounded by nature.

If you're already in the vicinity of the Annapurna Conservation Area, you can begin your trek from nearby villages such as Dhampus or Phedi.
