Walking
From Lakeside Pokhara, head east towards the main road (Prithvi Highway). Turn left onto the highway and walk for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the Machhapuchchhre Base Camp Trailhead. This area is marked with signs directing you towards the Great Machhapuchchhre Trail (GMT). Follow the signs leading into the trailhead, which will take you along a scenic path surrounded by nature.

Trekking
If you're already in the vicinity of the Annapurna Conservation Area, you can begin your trek from nearby villages such as Dhampus or Phedi. Follow the well-marked trails that lead towards Machhapuchchhre Base Camp. The trek from Phedi will take around 2-3 hours. Make sure to stay on the trail and follow the signs for the Great Machhapuchchhre Trail (GMT) as you ascend, enjoying the stunning views along the way.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Lakeside Pokhara. Head towards the Prithvi Highway, turning left and following the road until you reach the trailhead for the Great Machhapuchchhre Trail. The ride should take about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the trailhead, park your bike in the designated area and start your hike on the GMT.
