Walking
If you are staying near Lakeside, start by walking towards the main road (Siddhartha Highway). From the Lakeside area, head east along the lakeside promenade until you reach the main road. Once you reach the Siddhartha Highway, turn left and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you see a sign for Lamachaur Road. Turn right onto Lamachaur Road and walk for approximately 500 meters. The Gurkha Memorial Museum will be on your left, just past a small park.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Lakeside. Start by heading east along the lakeside promenade until you reach the Siddhartha Highway. Turn left onto Siddhartha Highway and cycle straight for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for a sign for Lamachaur Road and turn right. Continue on Lamachaur Road for about 500 meters, and you will find the Gurkha Memorial Museum on your left.
Local Bus
Head to the local bus station near Lakeside. Look for a bus heading towards Lamachaur or a general local bus. Once on the bus, tell the driver you want to get off at the Gurkha Memorial Museum stop. It will take about 10-15 minutes to reach your destination. After getting off, walk back a short distance down Lamachaur Road, and the museum will be on your right.
Rickshaw
Find a rickshaw in Lakeside. Tell the driver you want to go to Gurkha Memorial Museum on Lamachaur Road. The ride should take around 10 minutes, depending on traffic. The rickshaw will drop you off right in front of the museum.
