If you are in Lakeside, start at the main road (Lake Side). Head east on the Lakeside road until you reach the intersection with Gumba Road. Turn left onto Gumba Road and continue walking straight. You will pass by several local shops and restaurants. After approximately 15-20 minutes, you will see the Matepani Gumba (Buddhist Stupa) on your right. The stupa is prominent and should be easy to spot.

Rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Lakeside. Begin your journey on the Lakeside road heading east. At the intersection with Gumba Road, take a left. Continue cycling straight along Gumba Road, enjoying the views. After about 15 minutes, you will arrive at Matepani Gumba, which will be on your right.
