Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from Lakeside, head east on Gopal Ghat Road until you reach the intersection with the Siddhartha Highway. Continue straight onto the Siddhartha Highway for about 1 km. You will see a sign for Matepani Gumba on your left. Turn left onto Gumba Road and follow the road as it winds uphill. The Gumba will be about a 15-20 minute walk from the highway, located at 6284+RP2 Buddhist Stupa.

    If you are at the Pokhara Tourist Bus Park, exit the park and head towards the main road. Walk towards the Mahendra Pool and cross the bridge. After the bridge, continue straight until you reach the Siddhartha Highway. Turn right and walk about 1 km until you see the sign for Matepani Gumba on your left. Turn onto Gumba Road and walk uphill for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the Gumba.

    From the Fewa Lake area, make your way to the Lakeside area and then proceed to the Siddhartha Highway. Walk eastward on this highway for about 1 km and look for the Matepani Gumba sign on the left. Turn left onto Gumba Road, and after approximately 15-20 minutes of walking uphill, you will arrive at the Gumba.
