Walking
From the Lakeside area of Pokhara, head east along the main road (Siddhartha Highway) towards the Pumdikot region. Continue walking for about 30-40 minutes until you reach the fork at the Pumdikot road sign. Take the left turn onto the Pumdikot road. The Pumdikot Shiva Statue is approximately 1.5 kilometers up this road. You will have a moderate incline, so pace yourself. Follow the road until you see signs for the Shiva Statue; it will be visible as you approach.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle in the Lakeside area of Pokhara. Start by cycling east on Siddhartha Highway towards Pumdikot. After about 30 minutes of cycling, look for a road sign indicating Pumdikot. Turn left onto the Pumdikot road. Continue biking uphill for approximately 1.5 kilometers. As you approach the statue, you will see signs directing you to the Pumdikot Shiva Statue. Make sure to wear a helmet and be cautious of other traffic.
Local Bus
From Lakeside, walk to the main bus station located near the tourist information center. Look for a bus heading towards Pumdikot; these buses are usually marked. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes. Inform the bus conductor that you want to get off at Pumdikot. Once you arrive, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the Pumdikot Shiva Statue, which is a short walk uphill from the bus stop.
Taxi (Motorcycle)
You can hire a local motorcycle taxi from Lakeside. Tell the driver you want to go to the Pumdikot Shiva Statue. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes. The motorcycle taxi will take you directly to the entrance of the statue site, making it a quick and convenient option.
