Getting There

Walking
From the Lakeside area in Pokhara, head towards the main road (Mahendra Pul). Walk straight along the lakeside until you reach the intersection at the end of the lake. Turn left onto the road leading up the hill towards World Peace Stupa. Continue straight for about 15 minutes until you see signs pointing to the World Peace Pagoda. Follow the path, which will lead you up the hill through some local neighborhoods. The path is well-marked, and you should be able to see the stupa from afar as you approach.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many shops in Lakeside. Ride along the lakeside road towards Mahendra Pul. Once at the intersection, turn left and start riding uphill towards the World Peace Pagoda. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Follow the signs, and be prepared for some steep sections as you ascend. Use caution as the road can be busy with pedestrians and other cyclists.

Local Taxi (Tuk-tuk)
You can easily find a local taxi or tuk-tuk in the Lakeside area. Negotiate the fare to take you to the base of the World Peace Stupa. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, you will need to walk the remaining distance up the hill. Follow the signs for the stupa, which is about a 20-minute walk from where the taxi drops you off.
