Getting There

  From the exit of Gupteshwor Cave, turn left and head towards the main road. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach the Phewa Lake. Once you arrive at the lake, look for a sign indicating the path to the Viewpoint. Follow the trail that leads uphill. The hike will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace. Be prepared for a moderately steep path, and wear comfortable shoes. Along the way, you'll enjoy views of the lake and surrounding hills.

  If you're feeling adventurous, you can take a more scenic route by hiking through the hills. Start at the Gupteshwor Cave, then take the trail that leads to the left, which winds through local villages and lush greenery. This route offers a more immersive experience of the local culture and nature. It will take you about 1 hour to reach the Viewpoint, so bring water and snacks. Follow the signs along the way, and enjoy the beautiful landscape.

  Consider hiring a local guide to help you navigate to the Viewpoint. Guides can be found near the Gupteshwor Cave entrance. The cost for a guide typically ranges from NPR 1,000 to NPR 2,000 (approximately 8 to 16 USD) for a group.
