    Getting There

    Walking

From any point in Lakeside, head towards the main road that runs parallel to Phewa Lake. Look for signs leading towards 'Damside' or 'Phewa Lake' as a general guide. Continue walking along the lakeside promenade, enjoying the scenic views. As you approach the end of the promenade, keep an eye out for 'Park Sadak' street. Turn onto Park Sadak, and you will see Basundhara Park on your right side. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on your starting point.

    Bicycle Rental

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Lakeside. Follow the same route as walking—head towards the lakeside promenade and cycle along the path. Once you reach the end of the promenade, turn onto Park Sadak. You can park your bicycle outside the park. Bicycle rentals typically cost around NPR 300-500 for a few hours.

    Rickshaw

If you want a quicker option, you can take a rickshaw. Simply hail a rickshaw from the roadside in Lakeside and tell the driver 'Basundhara Park' or show them the address: '6X37+4W4, Park Sadak.' The fare should be around NPR 200-300 depending on your exact starting location. The rickshaw will drop you off right at the entrance of the park.

    Local Guide

If you feel uncertain about the directions, consider hiring a local guide who can walk with you to Basundhara Park. Many guides in Lakeside offer their services for a reasonable fee, usually around NPR 1000-1500 for a few hours, and they can share insights about the area along the way.
