Getting There

Walking
From Lakeside, head towards the main road (Lakeside Street) and walk towards the north. Keep walking for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Prithvi Highway. You will see signs pointing towards Mahendra Cave. Continue walking along the Prithvi Highway for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you see the entrance to Mahendra Cave on your right. Be sure to stay on the path and watch for traffic.

Local Bus
From Lakeside, you can catch a local bus heading towards Baglung or Pokhara Bazaar from one of the several bus stops along the main road. The bus fare is typically around NPR 30-50. Inform the conductor you want to get off at Mahendra Cave. The bus ride will take about 20-30 minutes. Once you get off, follow the signs to the cave which is a short walk from the bus stop.

Bicycle Rental
