Getting There

    From Poon Hill, start by driving down towards Nayapul. The road is winding and may be narrow at points, so drive carefully. The distance is approximately 30 kilometers, which typically takes around 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you reach Nayapul, you will need to take a local road towards Begkhola. Follow the signs indicating Begkhola. Upon arrival, you will find Durpin Dada on a small unnamed road just outside the town.

  • Public Transportation

    From Poon Hill, take a local jeep or bus to Nayapul. The fare is usually around 200 NPR (Nepalese Rupees). The journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once in Nayapul, you can catch another jeep or bus heading towards Begkhola. The fare for this leg is approximately 100 NPR. After arriving in Begkhola, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach Durpin Dada, following the signs or asking locals for directions.

    If you prefer to walk, it's a longer trek. From Poon Hill, head back to Ghorepani and then continue towards Nayapul.
