Car
If you are driving from the center of Achterhoek, head towards the A18 highway. Merge onto the A18 in the direction of Arnhem. Continue on the A18 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with the A12. Take the A12 towards Utrecht. After approximately 50 kilometers, take exit 17 towards Utrecht Centrum. Follow the signs for Centrum and continue onto the Croeselaan. Turn right onto the Budapestlaan. The Utrecht Botanic Gardens will be on your left at Budapestlaan 17.
Public Transportation
To reach the Utrecht Botanic Gardens by public transport, start by taking a train from the nearest station in Achterhoek to Utrecht Central Station. Once you arrive at Utrecht Central Station, exit the station and look for the bus terminal. Take bus line 28 towards 'Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn'. After about 10 minutes, get off the bus at the 'Utrecht Botanische Tuinen' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the gardens located at Budapestlaan 17.
