Getting There
Walking
From Amersfoort Central Station, exit the station and head southwest on Stationsplein towards Barchman Wuytierslaan. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Westsingel. Cross the street and turn left onto Westsingel. Walk along Westsingel until you reach the intersection with Stadsring. Cross the Stadsring and continue straight onto Utrechtseweg. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach the bus station. From there, take bus line 300 towards Amsterdam and disembark at Zaandam station. Once at Zaandam station, exit the station and walk north on Stationsweg. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Nicolaasstraat. Zaantheater will be on your left at Nicolaasstraat 3.
Public Transport
Start at Amersfoort Central Station and take a train towards Amsterdam Centraal. This journey will take approximately 25 minutes. Upon arriving at Amsterdam Centraal, transfer to the train towards Uitgeest. After about 12 minutes, disembark at Zaandam station. Exit the station and head north on Stationsweg. Follow Stationsweg for about 10 minutes, then turn left onto Nicolaasstraat. Zaantheater will be located on your left at Nicolaasstraat 3.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike at one of the local rental shops near Amersfoort Central Station. Once you have your bike, head out of the station and follow the cycle path towards the city center. Continue along the designated cycling paths until you reach the outskirts of Amersfoort. Follow the signs towards Zaandam, which is approximately a 45-minute bike ride. Once in Zaandam, navigate towards Nicolaasstraat. Zaantheater is located at Nicolaasstraat 3, right off the main road.
