Getting There

  • Tram

    If you're near Amsterdam Central Station, head to the tram stop located directly outside the station. Take tram line 14 towards 'Zeeburg' and ride for about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Artis' which is right in front of the zoo entrance. From there, it's just a short walk to the main entrance of ARTIS, located at Plantage Kerklaan 38-40.

  • Bus

    If you are near the Leidseplein area, walk to the bus stop 'Leidseplein'. Take bus line 22 towards 'Bijlmer Arena'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at 'Artis'. You will find the entrance of ARTIS just a short walk away at Plantage Kerklaan 38-40.

  • Walking

    If you are staying in the city center, the walk to ARTIS can be quite enjoyable. From Dam Square, head southeast towards Rokin and continue on to the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with the Plantage Middenlaan. Turn left and continue until you reach Plantage Kerklaan. ARTIS will be on your right at Plantage Kerklaan 38-40.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops around the city. Head southeast towards the Plantage area. Follow the bike paths along the Amstel River until you reach the Plantage Kerklaan. ARTIS is located at Plantage Kerklaan 38-40. There is bike parking available near the entrance.
