Walking
If you are near Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head towards the front, where you will find the main square. From there, take the Damrak street straight down towards Dam Square. Once you reach Dam Square, you will see the Royal Palace on your right. Continue walking past the palace and take a left onto Kalverstraat, a popular shopping street. Walk straight until you reach the Muntplein, where you'll see the Munt Tower. From Muntplein, take a right onto Reguliersbreestraat, and then a left onto Amstelstraat. Follow the Amstel river until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and head to the left on the other side, following the river until you see the iconic De Waag building on your right at the edge of the Waterlooplein market.

Public Transport - Tram
From Amsterdam Central Station, board tram line 14 towards the 'Zuid' direction. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Waterlooplein' tram stop. Once you exit the tram, you will see the Waterlooplein market. Walk towards the market and head to the left side of the square. De Waag is located on the corner of the square, easily recognizable by its medieval architecture.

Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from Amsterdam Central Station and head south towards the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. Continue cycling straight until you reach the 'Dam' area. From there, follow the same route as if you were walking: head down Kalverstraat, make a left onto Reguliersbreestraat, and then left onto Amstelstraat. You will find dedicated bike paths along the river. Keep cycling until you reach the bridge and cross it. De Waag will be on your right as you approach the Waterlooplein market.
