From Amsterdam Central Station, walk towards the tram stop located directly outside the station. Take tram line 26 towards Noord. The tram ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Noorderpark'. From there, it’s a short walk to IJpromenade. Head towards the waterfront, and you will see the Eye Filmmuseum directly across the water.
Ferry
From Amsterdam Central Station, walk to the northern exit of the station where you will find the free ferry terminal. Take the ferry towards 'Buiksloterweg'. The ferry ride takes about 5 minutes. Once you arrive, walk straight ahead along the waterfront, and you will reach the Eye Filmmuseum in just a few minutes.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops near Amsterdam Central Station. From the station, head north on the cycle path towards the IJ river. Follow the signs for 'Buiksloterweg' and cross the water using the free ferry. After disembarking, continue cycling straight along the waterfront until you see the Eye Filmmuseum on your right.
Walking
If you are near the Amsterdam Central Station and wish to walk, exit the station and head towards the water. Walk to the free ferry terminal located at the northern exit of the station. Board the ferry to 'Buiksloterweg' which takes about 5 minutes. Once you disembark, walk along the waterfront path towards the Eye Filmmuseum, which is just a short stroll away.
