Wertheimpark: A Tranquil Oasis in the Heart of Amsterdam

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are near Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head southeast towards Damrak street. Continue straight on Damrak until you reach the Dam Square. From Dam Square, take the Rokin street heading east. When you reach the intersection with the Muntplein, turn left onto Reguliersbreestraat. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with the Amstel River. Cross the river using the bridge and continue straight onto the Anne Frankstraat. Look for Anne Frankstraat 172, where Wertheimpark is located.

• Tram

  From Amsterdam Central Station, take tram line 14 towards Flevopark. Get off at the stop called 'Hortusplein'. From there, walk southeast on Plantage Middenlaan until you reach the intersection with the Anne Frankstraat. Turn left onto Anne Frankstraat, and you will find Wertheimpark at number 172.

• Bus

  If you are near the Leidseplein area, walk to the bus stop 'Leidseplein' and take bus line 21 towards Bijlmer Arena. Get off at the stop 'Amsterdam, Nieuwe Kerk'. From there, walk to the east along the Spuistraat until you reach the intersection with the Anne Frankstraat. Turn left onto Anne Frankstraat, and you will find Wertheimpark at number 172.

• Bicycle

  If you have rented a bicycle, start at any central location in Amsterdam, such as Dam Square. Head towards Rokin street and continue until you reach the Muntplein. Turn left onto Reguliersbreestraat, which will lead you to the Amstel River. Cross the bridge and follow the Anne Frankstraat until you reach Wertheimpark at number 172.
