Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're in the center of Arnhem, start at Arnhem Central Station. Exit the station and head east on Stationsplein toward the Rijnkade. Continue straight onto the Rijnkade, enjoying the views of the Rhine River. After about 15 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Walstraat. Turn left onto Walstraat and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Hoeferlaan. Turn right onto Hoeferlaan, and after a short walk, you will find the entrance to the Netherlands Open Air Museum on your left.

    From Arnhem Central Station, take bus line 3 or 4 towards 'Sonsbeekpark' or 'Heijenoord'. The bus stop is located just outside the station. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop 'Openluchtmuseum'. After disembarking, walk a short distance down the Hoeferlaan, and you will arrive at the entrance to the Netherlands Open Air Museum.
