Start from the city center of Delft, specifically from the Markt square. Head north on the Markt towards the Burgwal street. Continue straight until you reach the intersecting street and turn left onto the Voldersgracht. Follow Voldersgracht until it intersects with the Koornmarkt. Turn right at the Koornmarkt and continue straight until you reach the railway station, which is a prominent building. From the railway station, follow the signs to the bus terminal where you can take a direct bus to Haarlem. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many bike rental shops in Delft. Start from the city center and head towards the Delft railway station. Follow the cycling path that runs alongside the railway lines towards Haarlem. The route is approximately 20 kilometers and will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon reaching Haarlem, follow the signs to Stationsplein, which is located at the city center.
