By Car
If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to the A9 motorway. From Amsterdam, take the A9 towards Haarlem. Keep following the A9 until you see the signs for Zandvoort. Exit at the Zandvoort exit and follow the signs toward the town center. Once in Zandvoort, follow the Boulevard Paulus Loot which will lead you directly to Zandvoort Beach. Be aware that parking may be limited and could incur costs, typically around €2.50 per hour during the summer season. Ensure to check for parking regulations to avoid fines.
By Train
For those using public transportation, take a train from Amsterdam Central Station to Zandvoort aan Zee. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Trains run frequently, so you should have no trouble finding one. Once you arrive at Zandvoort aan Zee station, exit the station and head towards the beach by walking straight through the town, which should take approximately 15 minutes. Follow the signs to the beach, and you will arrive at Boulevard Paulus Loot 19 where Zandvoort Beach is located. A one-way ticket from Amsterdam to Zandvoort costs about €6.00.
By Bus
If you prefer traveling by bus, you can take a bus from Haarlem to Zandvoort. This option may take longer than the train, approximately 40-50 minutes. Check the local bus schedules for the most convenient route and times. Once you arrive in Zandvoort, walk towards the beach following the main roads leading to Boulevard Paulus Loot. The bus fare is generally around €4.00 for a one-way trip.
