Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Marknesse. From the A6 motorway, take the exit for N302 towards Emmeloord/Marknesse. Continue on N302 and follow the signs for Marknesse. Once in Marknesse, turn onto Voorsterweg. Waterloopbos is located at Voorsterweg 34, 8316 PT Marknesse. There is parking available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
If using public transportation, take a train to the nearest station, which is either Emmeloord or Lemmer. From Emmeloord, take bus line 23 towards Marknesse. Get off at the stop 'Marknesse, Voorsterweg'. From there, it is a short walk (approximately 10 minutes) to Waterloopbos, located at Voorsterweg 34. Make sure to check the bus and train schedules in advance, as they may vary.
Walking
If you are already in Marknesse, you can walk to Waterloopbos. From the center of Marknesse, head south on De Schelp towards Voorsterweg. Turn right onto Voorsterweg and continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. Waterloopbos will be on your left at Voorsterweg 34.
