Walking
If you are in the city center of Groningen, start at the Grote Markt. From there, head southeast on the Oosterstraat towards the Kromme Elleboog. Continue straight until you reach the Vismarkt. From the Vismarkt, turn left onto the Nieuwe Markt and continue until you reach the Folkingestraat. Follow this street until you see the signs directing you towards the Groninger Museum. The museum is located on Museumeiland, directly across from the railway station. It should take you around 15-20 minutes to walk there.

From the central train station (Groningen Centraal), you can take bus line 5 or 6 towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Museum'. From the bus stop, walk a short distance towards the water, and you will see the Groninger Museum on your left. The bus ride takes about 5 minutes, and the walk from the bus stop to the museum will take an additional 5 minutes.
