Walking
If you are in the city center of Groningen, start by heading towards the Grote Markt, which is the main square. From the Grote Markt, walk south on the Herestraat until you reach the end of the street. Turn left onto the Oosterstraat and continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Kromme Elleboog. Turn right onto the Kromme Elleboog and walk straight until you see the Nieuwe Kerkhof on your left. It is located at 9712 PL Groningen.
Public Transport - Bus
From the main train station (Groningen Centraal), take bus line 5 towards 'Zernike Campus.' Get off at the 'Nieuwe Kerkhof' bus stop. Once you exit the bus, you will be directly at the entrance to Nieuwe Kerkhof, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the city center and head towards the Noorderplantsoen park. Cycle through the park heading east, and exit at the east side. Continue cycling on the Noorderweg until you reach the intersection with the Nieuwe Kerkhof. The cemetery will be on your left side. Parking for bicycles is available near the entrance.
