Walking
From the center of Haarlem, head towards the Haarlem train station (Haarlem CS). Once you reach the station, exit and follow the signs to the bus station located right outside. Take bus line 300 towards Amsterdam. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Amsterdam, Artis' and walk towards the east along Plantage Kerklaan. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Funenkade, where you will see De Gooyer windmill on your left at Funenkade 5.
Public Transport
Start your journey at Haarlem train station (Haarlem CS). Purchase a ticket for a train to Amsterdam Central Station. The train ride takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, follow the signs for the Metro. Take Metro Line 52 towards Noord and get off at the stop 'Zuid'. From there, transfer to tram line 14 towards Flevopark. Get off at 'Artis', and from there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to De Gooyer at Funenkade 5.
Biking
If you're comfortable biking, you can rent a bicycle in Haarlem. From the city center, head towards the Haarlemmerhout park and follow the bike paths leading to Amsterdam. Follow the signs towards Amsterdam-Centrum. Once you enter the city, navigate towards the east side, and head towards Funenkade. De Gooyer windmill is located at Funenkade 5. The bike ride will take around 30-40 minutes, depending on your speed.
