Getting There
Walking
From the central train station (Haarlem Centraal), exit the station and head north towards the city center. Continue straight on the Kruisweg street until you reach the main square, Grote Markt. From there, you will see the impressive St. Bavochurch. Walk past the church and take a left onto the Smedestraat. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, then turn right onto the Gierstraat. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with the Zijlweg, and then turn left. Follow Zijlweg until you reach the intersection with the Nieuwe Gracht, where you will see signs directing you to the Noordermarkt. The market is located just a few minutes further on your right.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle at one of the many rental shops in Haarlem, such as 'Haarlem Fietsen' near the train station. From there, head towards the city center by cycling along the Spaarne River. Once you reach the city center, follow the signs towards the Grote Markt. After reaching the square, cycle past the St. Bavochurch and take a left on the Smedestraat. Continue to the Gierstraat and turn right. After a few minutes, you will reach the Noordermarkt. There are bike racks available for parking your bicycle.
Public Transport
Take bus line 50 from Haarlem Centraal station towards Amsterdam. Get off at the stop 'Zijlsingel'. From the bus stop, walk towards the Zijlweg and turn left. Follow the Zijlweg until you reach the intersection with the Nieuwe Gracht. You will see signs directing you to the Noordermarkt. It is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
