Walking
From the center of Haarlem, start at the Grote Markt, which is the main square. Head southeast on the Kruisstraat towards the Riviervismarkt. Continue straight until you reach the Spaarne River. Once you are at the river, follow the path along the water going southeast until you reach the bridge called 'Kruisweg'. Cross the bridge and continue walking straight. You will need to catch a train from Haarlem to Amsterdam. Head to Haarlem train station, which is about a 15-minute walk from the Grote Markt. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Amsterdam Centraal. The train ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and head towards the Damrak Street. From there, walk south to Thorbeckeplein. The Seven Bridges View Point is located at Thorbeckeplein 30, which is just a few minutes' walk from the main square.
Public Transport
From Haarlem, walk to the Haarlem train station, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the Grote Markt. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for a train to Amsterdam Centraal. The trains run frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. The journey will take about 15-20 minutes. After arriving at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and walk towards the Damrak Street. Go south towards the river, and turn left onto Thorbeckeplein. The Seven Bridges View Point will be on your right at Thorbeckeplein 30. This route is convenient and allows you to experience both Haarlem and Amsterdam without the hassle of driving.
