Walking
From Haarlem Central Station, exit the station and head south on the Stationsplein. Turn left onto the Zijlweg and walk straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with the A200. Cross the road and continue on Zijlweg, which becomes the Kruisweg. After approximately 1.5 km, take a right onto the A9 highway and follow the signs for Amsterdam. You will soon be on the A9. Exit at 'Amsterdam-Zuid' and follow signs for 'Zuid'. Once in Amsterdam, navigate to Eerste van der Helststraat. The Beer Tree is located at Eerste van der Helststraat 53III, which is about a 10-minute walk from the nearest tram stop.
Tram
From Haarlem Central Station, take the train to Amsterdam Zuid (about 20 minutes). Once you arrive at Amsterdam Zuid, exit the station and walk to the tram stop. Take tram line 5 towards Amstelveen and get off at the 'Zuid' stop. From there, walk south on the Eerste van der Helststraat for about 10 minutes. The Beer Tree will be on your left at Eerste van der Helststraat 53III.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike at one of the rental shops near Haarlem Central Station. Head east on the Zijlweg towards Amsterdam. Follow the signs for the bike path that leads directly to Amsterdam. Once you arrive in Amsterdam, navigate towards the Amsterdam-Zuid borough, and make your way to Eerste van der Helststraat. The Beer Tree is located at Eerste van der Helststraat 53III.
