If you're starting from the central square of Haarlem, the Grote Markt, head southwest towards the Bakenessergracht. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Zijlweg. Turn left onto Zijlweg and walk towards the train station. Once you reach the station, take the train to Hoorn. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Hoorn station, exit the station and turn right onto the Stationsweg. Continue walking straight until you reach the Roode Steen square, where you will find the Waag at Roode Steen 8.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start at the Grote Markt in Haarlem. Head southwest on the Zijlweg, then continue on the bike path towards Hoorn. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. When you reach Hoorn, follow the signs towards the city center. Once in the center, look for Roode Steen square, which is where the Waag is located at Roode Steen 8.
Public Transport
From Haarlem, take bus line 140 from the Haarlem Bus Station towards Hoorn. The bus ride will take around 40 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Hoorn, Roode Steen'. From there, it's just a short walk to the Waag at Roode Steen 8. Head straight to the square, and you will see the building.
