Walking
From Haarlem Central Station, exit the station and head south towards the main road, Spaarne. Turn left onto Spaarne and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Riviervismarkt. Cross the bridge over the river and continue straight. You will eventually arrive at the city center. Once you reach the Grote Markt square, continue straight towards the end of the square, then turn right onto the Bakenessergracht. Follow this street until you see the signs pointing towards Muntplein.
Public Transport (Train)
From Haarlem Central Station, take a train towards Amsterdam Central Station. The train ride takes around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head towards the Damrak, which is the main street leading into the city. Walk down the Damrak until you reach the Dam Square. From there, walk towards Muntplein by heading south and following the street. It’s about a 15-minute walk from Dam Square to Muntplein.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Haarlem. Start at Haarlem Central Station and head towards the Spaarne River, then follow the river north until you reach the bike path that leads to Amsterdam. It’s approximately a 30-minute bike ride to Muntplein. Once you arrive in Amsterdam, follow the bike lanes towards the city center and look for signs to Muntplein.
