Once you exit the park, head towards the A50 highway. Follow the signs for Nijmegen and take the exit towards the city center. Continue onto the N325, which will take you directly into Nijmegen. Once in Nijmegen, follow the signs for Benedenstad. The Barbarossa-ruïne is located at Benedenstad, 6511 TB Nijmegen. Parking options are available nearby, but check for any parking fees.

Public Transportation
For those using public transport, start by taking a bus from Hoge Veluwe National Park to the nearest bus station. You may need to take a bus to a nearby town such as Otterlo or Arnhem to connect to a train service to Nijmegen. Once you arrive at Nijmegen train station, exit the station and take bus line 3 or 5 towards Benedenstad. Get off at the stop closest to Benedenstad. From there, it's a short walk to the Barbarossa-ruïne. Be sure to check the local bus and train schedules for the most accurate times and any potential costs.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle within Hoge Veluwe National Park. There are designated bike paths that lead out of the park. Follow the designated cycling routes towards Nijmegen. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Once you reach Nijmegen, navigate to Benedenstad to find the Barbarossa-ruïne. Note that you may need to lock your bike at a designated area near the site.
